4-Week Handbuilding Pottery Course with Pamela Chaves

This course is designed for complete beginners and returning students seeking tutor support for their projects. Under the expert guidance of Pamela Chaves (@elemento.ceramics), you’ll learn to level up and refine your handbuilding skills in a small, supportive group setting. Class sizes are limited to 12 students to ensure plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Course Dates (6pm – 9pm):

• Thursday 6th November
• Thursday 13th November
• Thursday 20th November
• Thursday 27th November

Course Structure:

• Weeks 1–3: Learn and practice a variety of handbuilding techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slab building.
• Week 4: Guided glazing session to finish your pieces.

What’s Included:

• 4 x three-hour pottery classes
• 1 x 10kg bag of Walkers #10 clay
• Use of all equipment and tools (bring your own if preferred)
• Glazes and firing for your work
• Light refreshments each week

Additional Info:

• Closed-toe footwear is required at all times.
• If you miss a class, make-up sessions are not guaranteed.
