6 Week Slipcasting & Handbuilding Pottery Course with Erinn Stanfield.

This course is designed for complete beginners. Under the expert guidance of Erinn Stanfield (@xanthecaesiapottery), you’ll learn to the basics of slipcasting in a small, supportive group setting. Class sizes are limited to 10 students to ensure plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Course Dates (10am – 1pm):

• Sunday Feb 15, 10am - 1pm
• Sunday Feb 22, 10am - 1pm
  
• Sunday March 1, 10am - 1pm
  
• Sunday March 8, 10am - 1pm
• Sunday March 15, 10am - 1pm
  
• Sunday March 22, 10am - 1pm

Course Structure:

• Weeks 1–5: Learn and practice a variety of slipcasting, handbuilding and plaster mold making techniques.
• Week 6: Guided glazing session to finish your pieces.

What’s Included:

• 6 x three-hour pottery classes
• Equivalent of 1 x 10kg bag of Walkers #10 casting slip
• Use of all equipment and tools (bring your own if preferred)
• Glazes and firing for your work
• Light refreshments each week

Additional Info:

• Closed-toe footwear is required at all times.
• If you miss a class, make-up sessions are not guaranteed.
