workshop questions

Do I need prior pottery experience?

Nope! We run beginner-friendly workshops as well as intermediate courses for students who want to develop their skills further.

How many students are in each class?

We keep class sizes small to ensure individual guidance. Wheel courses are usually capped at 8, and handbuilding or kids workshops may vary.

Do I need to pay upfront to secure my spot?

Yes. Bookings are first-come, first-served, and your place is only confirmed once full payment is made

What should I wear to a pottery class?

Closed-toe shoes are required. We recommend comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting clay on. Aprons and towels are provided.

What is included in the cost of a workshop or course?

Most classes include clay, tools, glaze, and firing costs, as well as light refreshments. Full details are listed in each class description.

When will my finished pieces be ready?

The glazing and firing process takes about 4 weeks. You’ll be notified when your work is ready to collect from the studio.

What happens if I can’t attend a class or workshop?

Please let us know as soon as possible. Make-up classes are not guaranteed due to limited spaces, but we’ll advise on options where possible.
